Ahead of
Saturday's game against Everton at The Hawthorns, Albion Till We Die caught up
with Jogger from BlueKipper.com
Why
Everton?
Because my
Dad was an Evertonian.
Highlight of supporting the club?
It was
great to watch the successful 80’s and winning the League and the ECWC in 1985
was the highlight for me.
Favourite current Everton player?
Jelavic
looks to be a player, but my favourite player is Darron Gibson. What a bargain
and what a player.
Favourite all-time Everton player?
That’s a
hard question to answer. Graeme Sharp and Duncan Ferguson were my heroes. If I
had to pick one Sharpy would just edge it.
Thoughts on last season?
A great
second half, but as we all know we didn’t get off to the start we required to be
a success.
Happy with your club’s summer transfer dealings?
They are
looking good. The three lads Moyesy has brought in look to be top class. We knew
Pienaar and he has carried on his good form. Naismith and Mirallas have both got
what it takes to be a success at Everton.
Happy with your start to the season?
Couldn’t
have gone better. Three wins on the trot. It’s great to be an Evertonian at the
moment.
Prediction and thoughts for the season?
I hope we
can have a real go in the season and hopefully get a top 6 finish and as always
we want to win a cup. It’s been too long.
Prediction and thoughts for
Albion’s
season?
I think
Albion should do well. And what a start for you lot. Beating the redshite must
have given you a boost, it certainly gave us one.
Albion player you admire?
I have
always liked James Morrison and on his day Odemwingie can be handful.
Thoughts on WBA fans and The Hawthorns?
Always
enjoyed our trips to the Hawthorns. We always end up in the Royal Oak and had a
good time with the locals.
Premier League Champions?
Man City
Three teams for the drop?
Norwich,
Villa and QPR
Prediction for Saturday’s game?
1-1
