OPPOSITION VIEW - NORWICH CITY Q&A

Ahead of Saturday's crunch game against Norwich City at Carrow Road, we caught up with Nathan from the City website Vital Norwich. He gives us his views on their season, Chris Hughton, Saturday's match,
and more. You can also follow Nathan and his website on Twitter @VitalNorwich.

Just like it is for Albion, Saturday’s game is huge for Norwich. How is the mood around the club and amongst supporters ahead of the game?

The mood all season has been very up and down. There are sections of the support that want Chris Hughton out at all costs, while others still think he can do the job. The mood is relatively positive still, in so much as the bottom three teams have almost made us look okay at times.

It’s obviously been a struggle results-wise for City this season, how have performances been on the whole?

Performances have been defensively minded. This is something that we as the City fan base don't appreciate. Our club is known for playing attractive football but we just can't score enough goals and rarely look like scoring more than one! Paul Lambert's approach was the opposite of Chris Hughton's and it's taken some getting used to.

Does Chris Hughton still have the backing of supporters and is he likely to still be in charge next season?

As previously mentioned. Some want him out now and have done all season. It started at the end of last season and has got worse. The majority are just about still with him but I think a change is needed in the summer. I don't want to watch this sort of football anymore - it's basically rubbish.

Are you confident of avoiding relegation?

I still am, prior to facing The Baggies. We are at home and have a good record there (it's the only thing that has got us to where we are at this point), if we beat WBA then I think we will be safe. I honestly think you'll stay up with as little as 35 points this year.

Player of the season?

I'll go for Johnny Howson - he missed a couple of months through injury but is a really important player for us and he's back at the right time.

Villain of the season?

Got to be Chris Hughton - he's a nice fella but can't seem to get us playing, sorry Chris.

Highlight of the season?

Probably beating Spurs at Carrow Road. We were expected to get thumped but put on a professional, determined display to get the points.

Moment you would rather forget?

Losing seven nil at Manchester City - humiliating. If I was the Chief Exec I would've fired Chris Hughton there and then.

Premier League champions?

Liverpool

Relegated?

Cardiff, Sunderland and Fulham.

Prediction and thoughts on Saturday’s game?

A tough, cagey game but I'll back us to win 2 nil.
