OPPOSITION VIEW - HULL CITY Q&A

Ahead of Saturday's game at the KC Stadium, we caught up with Daisy from the Hull blog
HCAFC News. She gives us her views on the Tigers' start to the season, Steve Bruce, Shane Long, the Baggies and more. You can follow Daisy on Twitter @daisy_hull.

It's been a disappointing first few months of the season for Hull with Steve Bruce's men currently hovering around the wrong end of the table. What's been the main reason for the Tigers' poor start and are you confident the club will turn it around?

I think it could have something to do with the amount of players we brought into the squad which disrupted how we play and Bruce is still trying to figure out his best team after injuries to key players.

Are the majority of Hull fans still happy with Steve Bruce?

Yes, everyone I have spoken to is still very happy with Bruce as our manager and he has the fans full backing.

Was the Europa League experience enjoyable or in hindsight was it something the club could have done without?

When we initially got Europa League football I feared that it would be a bad thing for us with the amount of games that would've had potentially have to play. But when it came around it was a great experience to be involved with and I was very proud to say that I was there for both home games.

To most neutrals it was a strange move but what did you make of the club's decision to sell former Baggie Shane Long just six or so months after signing him?

For the amount of money we got for him it was a great deal for us despite him being our best striker we couldn't say no to the amount of money we got for him.

What team and tactics are we likely to see from City on Saturday?

We played quite defensively against Everton last night so I would expect more attacking tactics from City, with maybe another striker up top to go out and win the game.

Any particular Hull weakness Albion should be looking to exploit?

Defensively we look vulnerable this season, our best season last year was Curtis Davies but he has been off his game so far this season.

Player of the season so far?

Andy Robertson - he has been a fantastic signing.

Anyone been particularly disappointing?

Curtis Davies - he hasn't got to his top form yet this season.

Prediction for Hull's season?

14/15th position, just outside of the relegation battle.

Prediction for Albion's season?

Similar position to Hull.

Premier League champs?

Chelsea.

Relegated?

Burnley, Leicester and Palace.

Prediction and thoughts on Saturday's game?

Hull to win 2-1, If Jelavic and Hernandez play up front together I think they will create lots of chances to score after they showed good link up play earlier in the season before Jelavic got injured. I think that Berahino will a big threat against us and if he is given an opportunity I feel that he could punish us.
