      OPPOSITION VIEW - BURNLEY Q&A

Ahead of Sunday's televised game against Burnley at The Hawthorns, we spoke with the lads from Clarets' blog No Nay Never. They give us their views on Burnley's start to the season, the match itself,
former Baggie Steven Reid and more. You can also follow No Nay Never on Twitter @nonaynevernet.

It's been a tough start for the Clarets with the club still waiting for it's first league win and an early exit from the Capital One Cup.  How have performances been and have the results so far been justified?

It's been tough, but not particularly punishing. Other than a 20-minute spell where Chelsea were phenomenal we've been incredibly comfortable at the back - I can't think of more than one or two chances the opposition has had in 3/4 games - but we're lacking that cutting edge up front.

Fans' expectations for the season?

Survival - or at least a bloody good go at it. Last time we were at this level, we limped out in the second half of the season without a fight - so minimum expectation is that we give everything from start to finish. But this is our second time here in 5 years, so for me we really need to be expecting to stay up.

The big question, can you, and will you stay up this season?

We can - last season we can achieve against the odds - but we'll need to start scoring goals if we are to survive.

Were supporters happy with the club's summer transfer dealings? Was there anything more you felt the club needed to do?

Some of the happy-clappers were, but many others think we signed too many fillers without really improving the starting XI.

How's former Baggie Steven Reid doing?

He's come off the bench a few times and done alright. A crunching tackle after about 4 seconds against United probably the experience we wanted when we brought him in.

A quick look back at last season - How did it compare to your previous promotion in 2009?

Our team last season was much, much better and it was really nice to have promotion all but confirmed with about a month to go, as we could enjoy it a bit more - but nothing beats that instant promotion feeling at Wembley in 2009.

Player of last season?

Jason Shackell won our POTY award: http://nonaynever.net/19848/jason-shackell-is-your-player-of-the-year/

Villain of last season?

Not a villain, but it's a shame Keith Treacy couldn't live up to his undoubted talents.

Any stand-out memories from previous Albion and Burnley clashes?

Not really, to be honest, although I think there are usually quite a few goals in our games so hopefully that continues tomorrow (we've had 3 goal-less draws on the bounce).

Prediction for Burnley's season?

We'll stay up on goal-difference on the last day.

Player to watch?

Scott Arfield has been our best player this season. He was talking to League Two clubs last summer before Sean Dyche took a gamble on him, switched him to the wing and he's been incredible since.

Prediction for Albion's season?

Not convinced Alan Irvine can do any different to the mediocre stuff he's managed in the past, so you'll finish just below us.

Premier League Champions?

Unfortunately, it looks like Chelsea all but have it already.

Relegated?

You (sorry), Palace and Villa

Prediction and thoughts on Sunday's game?

1-1 with the Juke to score for us.
