SYNOPSIS

Founder members of the Football League back in 1888, West Bromwich Albion are one of the great names of British football and in their 117-year history they have won the FA Cup five times and the championship of the top flight once. In addition they have lifted the League Cup, won the old Second Division twice and played in Europe, in the Cup Winners' Cup, the Fairs Cup and the UEFA Cup.

Throughout that time many great names have played for The Hawthorns club - names like Jesse Pennington, Ronnie Allen, Tony Brown and Bob Taylor to mention but a few.
