ANGLO CONFECTIONERY LTD.

Anglo-American Chewing Gum Ltd, which would in 1960 become Anglo Confectionery Ltd, was formed in 1929. Based in Halifax, Yorkshire, the company would issue a number of bubble gum cards during the late 1960s and early 1970s on a number of different subjects.

1969/70 FOOTBALL STARS

Commonly known as 'Football Quiz'.

Each card had quiz questions on the back, with the answers available on the following numbered card. The packets of bubble gum / cards, cost 3d.
