2008 - Albion agree a
loan deal with AZ Alkmaar defender Ryan Donk. The Dutch club
announced the deal on their official website, confirming that the 22-year-old centre-back will join
the Baggies on loan for the season.
Holland Under-21 international Donk began his career with RKC
Waalwijk before he made the switch to
Alkmaar in 2006 and becomes
Tony Mowbray's 11th summer signing.

Dublin-born OConnor spent seven
years with Stoke City before joining Albion in the Summer of 2003 for a fee of
£250,000. The Irish international midfielder struggled to pin down a first team
place at The Hawthorns and made just 38 appearances before leaving to join
Burnley in March 2005.
