Since Albion's first £1million deal back in 1981, when England midfielder Bryan Robson was sold to Manchester United, over 40 players have joined the club for a million pounds or more whilst over 20 have left. This section lists to our knowledge every player involved in such a deal. We have only included players where the initial fee was a million pounds or more although there have been a number of players over the years whose fees could have exceeded the figure once additional clauses had been met. All fees listed are as what was reported in the media at the time.
